Employee Benefits

EPC understands that in today's competitive job market, you're looking for more than just a good wage. That's why EPC offers one of the most competitive benefits packages around.

Benefits of working at EPC

Paid vacation time

The longer you work for EPC, the more vacation time you accrue. Everyone needs a little R&R!

Paid wellness time

We call it Wellness Time, not sick leave, because we want you to be well.

Paid holidays

In addition to accruing paid vacation time and paid wellness time, EPC employees get an additional 9 days per year of paid holiday leave. This includes most of the major holidays. It’s important to be able to celebrate these special days.

Health insurance premiums

Employee premiums are paid by the company. That means to be insured, you pay nothing toward your own premium. EPC takes care of that!

Your medical and dental insurance coverage starts after your evaluation period ends.

If you select our plan for your spouse or dependents, the premium is paid by you and is deducted from your weekly paycheck as follows.

Spouse or dependent health insurance premiums (weekly charge)
Insured Medical & Vision Dental Combined
Employee $0.00 $0.00 $0.00
Spouse $101.85 $13.00 $114.85
Family $142.80 $20.00 $162.80
1 Child $35.00 $12.00 $47.00
Children $71.40 $12.00 $83.40

Health insurance deductibles

EPC deductibles are low! That is the amount you pay for covered health care services before your insurance plan starts to pay.

Medical Deductibles: $300 individual, $600 family (not per child – per family, whether you have one child or four!). Your medical coverage includes Vision Insurance.

Dental Deductibles: $25 individual, $75 family (not per child – per family). Dental insurance is available 12 months from hire date.

Extended medical

After 6th year of employment, you will be eligible for 2 additional weeks of emergency medical leave per year. (Requires physician verification.)

401(k) Employee contribution

You will be eligible to set up a 401(k) and make contributions to it 90 days from your hire date. You must be at least 21 years of age.

401(k) Employer match

If you contribute up to 4% of your gross pay, the company matches dollar for dollar. You must be at least age 21. Eligibility requirements apply.

Long-term disability

Company pays 50% of premium of this insurance product, which provides income if a policyholder is prevented from working and earning an income due to a disability.

This is a general summary of what a regular status employee can reasonably expect. Other restrictions and eligibility requirements may apply. Individual benefits are based on your employment classification. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us! We're happy to answer your questions.
