FSoE Safety Encoder for Reliable Position & Speed Feedback
The TRK/S3 FSoE safety encoder provides certified position and speed feedback for safety-critical motion applications. Designed for integration with EtherCAT and Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) systems, the compact 42 mm absolute encoder supports applications up to SIL 2 and PL d.
Available in single-turn and multi-turn configurations, the TRK/S3 uses contactless magnetic sensing to provide reliable motion feedback without mechanical wear. Safe position and speed signals can be transmitted through FSoE, while an additional non-safety channel supports standard control functions.
With its compact footprint, high shock and vibration resistance, and programmable EtherCAT parameters, the TRK/S3 is well suited for mobile machinery, material handling, robotics, automated equipment, and other safety-related motion systems
